Monday - outdoor learning for Mrs Gubb's class
Tuesday - outdoor learning for Miss Kehoe's class
Wendesday - PE for both classes
We have been looking at capacity over the past couple of weeks.  We had a mission to create a potion that turns frogs into humans.  We had to carefully measure out the ingredients and add them together.  We are super potion makers!
Our new topic is Nature Detectives and we have been looking at the life cycle of a frog.  We made our own plates to help them explain the process.
Teddy's mam kindly came in and brought us two chicks to meet.  We loved asking questions and finding out about the chicks.  
For World Book Day, we teamed up with the Year 6 children.  We were lucky to pair up and have the older children to read our new books to us.  
We had an action packed St. David's Day. We painted daffodils, tasted bara brith, performed our Welsh song to the school, wrote about how we celebrate St. David's Day and made 3D daffodils ❤️
Ola! We are lucky to have Mrs Delgado in with us on Monday's to teach us Spanish. We love practising by having conversations with our friends. 
January 2023
We enjoyed our outdoor learning session where we look at symmetry.  We created art and needed to make sure the each side was the same.  
December 2022
The children loved exploring all the exhibitions in Techniquest. The children's behaviour was outstanding and they were a credit to their families and our school.
November 2022
We loved celebrating Wales playing in the Word Cup and being able to watch it with our friends in school.
We supported Children in Need by having a crazy hair day. We loved taking part in activities and we made some crispy cakes by following instructions.  
The children loved learning about Remembrance Day and creating these excellent pieces of work.

October 2022
The local Firefighters came in to read us 'Sbarc'. We learnt about dangers around the home that could cause fires.  We also learned about what we should do if we spot a fire. 
​We loved having a turn at shooting the hose and sitting in the fire engine.  We felt like real firefighters!
